black lgbt people are the most likely to experience deadly interpersonal homophobic/transphobic violence in the united states and the bulk of it is perpetuated by straight black men
all of that is to say black liberation won’t be a reality if we can’t transform the ways we relate to each other, recognize abuse and male violence as an inherent evil, and pose a genuinely united front against the systems that harm us all
